Osmo Hardwax-Olie Rapid

Osmo Hardwax-Oil Rapid 3232 semi-matt and 3262 matt create a colorless protection for most wooden floors. Check under "Documents" to see if your wood type is also suitable for treatment with Hardwax-Oil Rapid. This finish dries faster than Hardwax-Oil Original Colorless. Rapid is an oil- and wax-based product, which provides a protective surface after treatment. The product uses a two-layer system: the first layer is fully absorbed into the wood, while the second layer hardens in the upper pores of the wood. The surface appearance is very natural, as the product emphasizes the color of the wood. By wetting the untreated wood, you can get an impression of the appearance after treatment with Osmo Hardwax-Oil Rapid 3232 and 3262; a permanent wet look is created after treatment. This applies when using only Hardwax-Oil Rapid. Applying a color first and then a coat of Rapid to the wood won't create a wet-look effect. Thanks to Rapid's fast-drying properties, you can create a fully finished surface within 4-6 hours.

There is also a white version of Hardwax-Oil Rapid, 3240. This version has the same color as Hardwax-Oil Farbig 3040, but dries faster.

Hardwax-Oil Rapid Fast-Drying
Hardwax-Oil Rapid is the fast-drying version of Hardwax-Oil Original and should therefore be applied in exactly the same way. In two days, with two coats, you can treat the wooden surface with Osmo Rapid, making it completely ready for use. Each coat of Hardwax-Oil Rapid has a drying time of 4 to 6 hours.

1L is sufficient for approximately 24 m² with one coat.

Note: For surfaces already treated with Osmo or another brand or product, always perform a test first. For renovations, it is always recommended to apply a maximum of one coat. If more than one coat is applied, there is a chance that the second coat will not adhere, making it easy to scratch off. Note: Cloths saturated with the liquid product should be washed immediately after use or stored airtight in a metal container (risk of spontaneous combustion). Once dry, the cloths can be disposed of in the trash.
