Natural oil impregnation for natural stone and artificial stone. Ideal for protecting surfaces made of natural stone, engineered stone, and terracotta. The colourless, natural oil penetrates into the surface and does not form a film layer on top. By impregnating the surface with Stone and Terracotta Oil, it becomes water- and dirt-repellent as well as stain-resistant. Dust formation from screeds and concrete surfaces is significantly reduced.

Osmo Stone and Terracotta Oil is suitable for the colourless treatment of natural stone with a polished, honed, or split-face finish. It is also intended for artificial stone in outdoor areas. The product is especially suitable for stone floors and window sills made of granite, as well as limestone and slate.

Suitability of Stone and Terracotta Oil

Oils enhance the natural colour of the surface (permanent “wet look” effect). A test application is absolutely necessary, as the oil reacts differently on every surface. White or very light-coloured surfaces may slightly yellow as a result of the oil treatment. The acid sensitivity of the stone (for example marble) remains unaffected. Non-absorbent surfaces such as glass, glazed tiles, or ceramics cannot be treated (impregnated). Substrates that are sensitive to solvents (for example plastics such as plexiglass) must be protected.

Available container sizes: 0.75 L and 2.5 L

Coverage: 1 litre is sufficient for approximately 50 m² with one layer.

Important: Cloths used for applying or polishing Stone and Terracotta Oil must be rinsed with water after use, as they present a risk of self-ignition. Always rinse cloths thoroughly with water before disposing of them in the bin.
