When is sanding not necessary?

Sanding is unnecessary in the following cases:

• Untreated wood → Staining is possible directly without sanding.
• Maintained wood → Simply clean with Osmo Patio Cleaner.
• Previously treated wood → Remove old layers with Osmo Paint Stripper, then stain without sanding.
