Osmo Olie-Beits: Create a beautiful wash effect with emphasis on the wood grain

Osmo Olie-Beits is ideal for creating a (white) wash effect or a more opaque finish. In combination with Hardwax-Olie Original, Osmo Olie-Beits provides excellent protection against water, beer, wine and other liquids. It is suitable for both wooden floors and furniture.

Applying one coat creates a wash effect. Applying two coats results in a more opaque finish, while the wood structure remains visible.

Note: Unlike Hardwax-Olie, this product must be applied using an Osmo Pad or a lint-free cloth. By polishing it into the surface, the colour is distributed mainly within the wood grain. More information about application can be found under the heading “Application Instructions.”

Finishing with Hardwax-Olie Original

With one coat of Olie-Beits (wash effect), we recommend finishing with two coats of Hardwax-Olie Original.

With two coats of Olie-Beits (opaque effect), we recommend finishing with one coat of Hardwax-Olie Original.

Please note: Hardwax-Olie Original must be applied with a roller.

After treatment in combination with colourless Hardwax-Olie, Osmo Olie-Beits is resistant to water and dirt. It also creates a durable, wear-resistant surface and, once dry, is safe for people, animals and plants.

Olie-Beits for floors and furniture

Osmo Olie-Beits is suitable for treating both floors and furniture. Thanks to its high coverage rate of 48 m² per litre, large areas can be treated with a relatively small amount of product. This high coverage makes Olie-Beits especially suitable for staining large surfaces such as wooden floors.
