Cleaning a wooden deck or balcony can take a lot of time, especially on larger surfaces. With the Osmo brushing machine combined with Osmo Power-Gel, you clean faster, more evenly and with less effort.

On smaller surfaces, working by hand is perfectly fine. But on larger decks or balconies, the brushing machine makes a big difference.

Preparation: is your deck ready to be cleaned?
Before you start cleaning, it is important to assess the condition of the wood.
- Is there green algae on the surface? Then first clean the deck with Osmo Terrasreiniger
- No green algae, but the wood has turned gray? Then you can start right away with Osmo Power-Gel.

Step-by-step plan: cleaning a deck with the brushing machine
Sweep the deck clean
Make sure all coarse dirt such as soil and leaves has been removed from the deck. Otherwise it can prevent the Power-Gel from being absorbed properly.
Apply the Power-Gel
Apply Osmo Power-Gel with the Osmo block brush. Work in the direction of the wood grain.
Let the Power-Gel soak in
Let the Power-Gel soak in well for 20 minutes.
Spray the deck with water
Wet the deck with the garden hose.
Brush with the brushing machine
Use the brushing machine to clean the surface thoroughly. On larger surfaces, this speeds up the process considerably. Work in the direction of the wood grain.
The machine collects the dirt in a container. Empty the container several times during the process, especially if the deck is very dirty.
Corners and edges
Do the corners and edges by hand with a brush. You can simply apply the product with the block brush or a brush (both are included in the Terras Aanbreng- en Reinigingsset).
Rinse
Rinse the deck thoroughly with plenty of water, so that all the Power-Gel is really removed from the deck.
Drying
After rinsing, let the deck dry for 1 to 2 days.
Protect your deck
After cleaning, the wood is open and untreated again. For a long-lasting beautiful result, we recommend treating the deck with Osmo Terras-Olie.
This protects the wood against:
- Moisture
- UV radiation
- Graying
Let the wood dry completely before applying the oil.
