Osmo Fence Stain Black dries to a satin matte finish. This means the product is neither matte nor fully glossy. The product falls between these two gloss levels. Would you prefer a matte fence? Let the first layer dry for 10 to 12 hours, ensuring that it is not raining outside during this time. This will negatively affect the result. After drying, apply the second thin layer to the fence. Allow this to dry sufficiently as well. When renovating the fence, applying one coat of the black stain is sufficient.
