Why should I use the Intensiefreiniger?

This product provides thorough cleaning. It removes all ingrained dirt from the surface and ensures that the floor can be treated with Osmo Onderhoudsolie.

Does Osmo Intensiefreiniger work as an alternative to sanding?

For regular maintenance, yes. In combination with Osmo Onderhoudsolie, the Intensiefreiniger is an alternative to sanding. It is not a stripper: the existing Osmo layer remains and only the dirt is removed. For deep scratches or bare patches, sanding is still necessary.

When should I use the intensive cleaner?

The product is used when a floor treated with Hardwax-Olie shows signs of wear and tear and needs to be treated with a new coat. The intensive cleaner cleans the surface so that it can be retreated with Osmo Onderhoudsolie after cleaning.

Do I need to dilute the Intensiefreiniger with water?

Yes, dilute the Intensiefreiniger 1 to 10 to 1 to 20 with water.

How should I apply the Intensiefreiniger?

Apply the product diluted with water using a green pad and scrub thoroughly. This will loosen the dirt, which must then be removed. This can be done by mopping the wood with clean water after scrubbing.

Can I use the Intensiefreiniger on untreated or bare wood?

No, the Intensiefreiniger should only be applied to wood that has been treated with (Osmo).

What is the drying time of the product?

Allow the cleaned surface (before surface treatment) to dry completely for at least 3-4 hours. The wood must be dry before it is treated with Onderhoudsolie.

Description

Osmo Intensiefreiniger is a very powerful cleaner. The product removes all dirt from the wood and cleans the surface for a new treatment. The Intensiefreiniger is not a stripper, so it does not remove the old Osmo layer. Suitable for all oiled or waxed wooden surfaces indoors, such as floors, stairs, furniture and tables, as well as plastic and stainless steel. For exterior wood we recommend Osmo Terrasreiniger.

After cleaning with the Intensiefreiniger, the wood can be treated with Osmo Onderhoudsolie. The Onderhoudsolie is the diluted version of Osmo Hardwax-Olie, and this product adheres well to previously treated surfaces. The Intensiefreiniger, in combination with the Onderhoudsolie, offers maintenance without sanding. The product is easy to use and ideal for both large and small projects. It is always wise to do a test to see if the end result is the desired result.

Consumption: dilute 1 litre of Intensiefreiniger with 10 to 20 litres of water. Depending on the level of soiling, this cleans approximately 30 to 100 m².
