Oil for wooden table

To enjoy a wooden table for as long as possible, it is important that the wood is treated. Osmo has various table oils in its range that can treat almost all types of wood. After oiling the table, the surface is protected against wine, coffee, water, and all kinds of other beverages. It is also resistant to various oils, such as olive oil. Therefore, it is not a problem if a few drops of oil fall on the treated table. The drops simply remain on the surface and do not soak into the wood.

Which oil for a wooden table?

Osmo TopOil is the ultimate product for treating wooden tables made from wood types such as oak, acacia, mango, and pine. This is therefore the perfect oil for an oak table. TopOil is available in various colors and gloss levels. The colorless variant is available in satin and matte finishes. A colorless oil creates a wet-look effect. This means the table appears as if it is wet, making it darker. If you prefer a table oil that preserves the light color of the oak wood, then TopOil 3068 Natural is the one to choose.

To treat tropical wood tables, Osmo offers Clear Wax in its range. This product has been specially developed to treat hardwoods such as Wenge, Jatoba, and Merbau.

Table White Wash Oil
With a white wash, you create a beautiful table with grains colored white. This creates a cool effect and ensures a modern look. With Osmo Decor Wax White 3111, you create a white wash effect on the wooden table. In addition to a white wash, you can also apply other colors with a wash effect, such as a grey wash. You can find more information about Osmo Decorwas on the Decorwas product page.

Natural ingredients
In addition to providing good protection, Osmo table oil offers a product made from natural ingredients. The products are made from waxes and oils consisting of natural ingredients such as sunflower oil and linseed oil. Furthermore, it is benzene-free; benzene is a harmful substance that is bad for health. Because it is made from natural ingredients and the products do not contain chemical dryers, the product requires 8 to 10 hours of drying time after treatment, during which fresh oxygen is desirable. Therefore, windows and doors should be opened as much as possible after a treatment with Osmo.
