Osmo Terras-Olie 019 Grijs is the grey colour of the Terras-Olie for wooden decking, terraces and garden furniture. Instead of a wood tone, this variant gives the wood a grey colour, while the pigment protects against UV radiation and makes the surface resistant to water and dirt. Apply 2 thin coats; 1 litre covers about 24 m² per coat. Treat weathered grey wood with Osmo Power-Gel Houtontgrijzer first. Test the grey shade on an offcut, as every wood species takes colour differently.
Description
Osmo Terras-Olie is a product based on oils and waxes that creates a protected surface after treatment. The surface is resistant to water, dirt and the sun.
The treatment is highly suitable for protecting wooden terraces, decks and outdoor stairs. For garden furniture we recommend Osmo Natuurlijke Olie-Beits, or Osmo Vergrijzingsbeits for a weathered grey look. For fences, cladding and window frames we recommend Osmo UV-Beschermingsolie, Natuurlijke Olie-Beits or Landhuisverf. Osmo Terras-Olie is suitable for all exterior wood species, such as spruce, pine, Douglas fir, larch, oak, bangkirai and teak.
Colours: the colours are named after the wood species whose colour they resemble. This does not mean they are only intended for that wood species. Samples are available in all colours. The pigmented Terras-Olie offer better protection against UV radiation (greying); the colourless 007 offers less UV protection.
Anti-Slip: as a third coat, you can apply Osmo Antislip Terras-Olie 430 over two coats of Terras-Olie to create a slip-resistant surface on terraces and outdoor stairs.
Greyed wood: if your terrace or deck has turned grey, first treat it with Osmo Power-Gel Hout Ontgrijzer and wait 24 hours before applying Terras-Olie. Clean the terrace or deck with Osmo Terrasreiniger in spring and autumn. The minimum application temperature is 10 °C.
