Osmo UV-Beschermingsolie 424 Spar is a light colour for vertical exterior wood, such as cladding, fences and garden sheds. The colour is designed to keep spruce light, but you can also use it on other wood species. Apply one coat of 424 and finish with a second coat of 420 clear; two colour coats are not recommended. 1 litre covers about 18 m² per coat. Not for horizontal surfaces such as decking. Test the colour on an offcut first.
Description
Silk-matt protection based on natural oils for exterior wood, available clear and in 8 colours. The colour names refer to the shade, not to the wood species it is meant for.
Ideal for all vertical exterior wood such as fences, cladding, doors, windows, shutters, carports, pergolas, posts and garden sheds. Not suitable for horizontal surfaces where water can remain, such as decking, outdoor stairs or garden furniture. For decking, use Osmo Terras-Olie.
Microporous, allows the wood to breathe and reduces swelling and shrinking. Water-repellent, does not crack, peel or flake.
UV-Beschermingsolie significantly extends the renovation interval for previously coloured and treated wood. With two coats, the greying process of vertical surfaces is prevented with UV protection factor 12 compared to untreated wood.
